Scars are abnormal areas of wound healing, and are a great cause of concern for many clients, as well as a challenge to manage. At Altruderm we treat a range of scarring conditions, including hypertrophic scarring, keloid scar formation (an uncontrolled post-surgical scarring), and scarring caused by chronic skin disease or skin treatments such as laser.
What does scarring look like?
At Altruderm we offer a range of treatments, dependent on the scarring condition and agreed upon during extensive consultation with your practitioner. Scars can be managed surgically, and we also offer treatments to slow and prevent abnormalities in the healing process. These include corticosteroid injection, mesotherapy and PRP, often used in combination for optimal results.
How we treat scarring?
